Bond Street Bridge Delivers Much Needed Connections

Member for Melton Don Nardella was joined by Moorabool Shire Mayor Pat Toohey, when he visited Bacchus Marsh for the April launch of the newBond Streetshared pedestrian bridge and connections.

SpanningWerribeeRiver , the bridge and shared pathways provide a safe link to Bacchus Marsh Railway Station, significantly improving walking and cycling connections to key services and community hubs in Bacchus Marsh.

A partnership project between Moorabool Shire Council and the Victorian Government, the Bond Street Bridge and connections received a $141,610 grant under the Department of Transport's TravelSmart and Local Area Access Program.
