National Ride to School Day 2008

Next Wednesday, the 12th of March, is Ride 2 School day.

This successful program is funded by the Victorian Government and encourages children across Victoria to walk and ride to school, instead of travelling in their parents' cars. Ride to School Day forms part of many TravelSmart school's travel plans.

For the first time ever, the event is going national to encourage students all over Australia to choose walking, riding, skating and even scootering to school.

It's sure to be a fun day, so make sure your school and family are part of the action.
