New Bridge Links Merri Creek and Capital City Trails

A new pedestrian and cycling bridge and shared pathway has provided a much needed link between Merri Creek and the popular Capital City Trails.

The bridge was named Koonda Lat Bridge, meaning 'travel over' in Wurundjeri.

Delivered in partnership with the City of Yarra and Darebin City Council, the project received a $245,000 grant under the Victorian Government's Local Area Access and TravelSmart Program.
