Public Bike Hire Scheme to Launch in May

Melbourne's public bike hire scheme, Bike Share, is on track to be launched by 31 May this year.

Ten 24-hour bike stations will open between the Melbourne Arts Centre Precinct and Federation Square, and along St Kilda Road to Melbourne University .

The RACV will operate the scheme in partnership with Alta Planning and Design, with users paying to subscribe. A daily subscription is expected to cost $2.50 with an annual subscription starting at $50.00.
