Victoria University Launches Bike Hub

Victoria University is encouraging staff and students to get pedalling with the launch of its Footscray Nicholson Bike Hub. The new end-of-trip facility was opened earlier this month.

The Bike Hub has capacity to securely hold up to 40 bikes and includes showers and lockers. It is part of Victoria University's ongoing commitment to promote sustainable transport use and reduce local traffic congestion.

The Bike Hub is the first of two, with a second to open at the University's Footscray Park campus later this year.

This project was funded under the Victorian Government's TravelSmart and Local Area Access Program (LAAP) grants.
